  • Overview

    This position will be a multi-purpose support position to support Verge Campus Group and the Accounting Department.

    Responsibilities

    The job duties of the new shared services position will include:

    • “End to End” customer account manager: Contract data quality / to billing statements /  to claims resolution / to collections.
    • Cash Deposit Accounting for Verge and CMG. In-house bank processing of payments.
    • Back – up HR payroll coordinator and benefits admin for Chris Coats – As needed biweekly scheduling for payroll file submission which will be sent to Chris for review and approval.
    • Customer Service Manager – All inbound phone calls, customer adjustments, complaint resolution, printer and in-house customer service issue resolution.
    • Utilize collection staff to be responsive to customer complaints and timely posting of any claims or adjustments
    • Monthly Billing responsibility, including the ebills, Paper bills
    • Credit Card - CC processing of recurring payments, and the print and mail functions associated with order Confirmations.
    • Note: Bill / statement reconciliation of monthly AR for CMG is the responsibility of the controller.
    • Bill Reconciliation for Verge will be completed and presented to the controller for review and approval.
    • Collector responsibility –Manage collector staff including customer collection call volume, statements print, email, and demand letter distribution, collection demand letters.
    • Legal collection through District Court letters from the law firm of Parker Poe. Coordinate file submission and letter production with Juanita Simms of Parker Poe.  Verify billing of services from Parker Poe, and Payment submission.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree required

    1+ years experience in account management

    Advanced problem resolution skills and communication abilities

    Excellent customer telephone skills, documentation  and spreadsheet skills

    Ability to anticipate customers’ needs and match them with appropriate products and services

    Comfort with working under pressure in a fast-paced environment

    Familiar with web site advertising products,  deal applications a plus

    Positive attitude and desire to deal with customers near college campus markets and sales persons throughout USA.
